Alexander is a professor in the American University in Bulgaria and in Sofia University. He has a PhD in Communication and Media studies and tree master degrees – Public Relations, Business administration and Political management.

He was the chairman of the Bulgarian Association of PR Agencies from 2011 – 2014, deputy chairman 2009 – 2011 and board member since 2011.
